Enquires are underway to establish those responsible, However, we can stay one step ahead 👇 🚪 If someone knocks offering work: • Don’t agree to anything on the spot• Never hand over cash or go to the bank with them• Say “No thank you” and close the door ⚠️ Red flags to watch for: • No ID or paperwork• Pressure tactics like “your roof is unsafe”• Asking for large deposits• Refusing to leave when asked ✅ Safer steps: • Use trusted directories like Buy With Confidence• Ask family or neighbours for recommendations• Take your time — real professionals won’t rush you 📞 Report it: - • Call 999 if someone won’t leave or you feel unsafe• Report suspicious behaviour to 101• Get advice from Citizens Advice: 0808 223 1133
